Resources for Engaging in Virtuous Conversations

MY LAST ARGUMENT (Don't worry, it's an aspirational goal!)

  1. If we argue with each other online over issues important to our personal identity, our core personal moral integrity, or one of our reference group loyalties (eg., family, faith, football team 🙂) then one of us will win and one will lose or, more likely, we will both lose.

  2. There will, however, be a winner.

  3. The winner is the guy who paid the programmer to write the algorithm so they get more "engagement" (that is, setting us at each other's throat) and more ad revenue.

  4. And, to add insult to injury, we're spending HOURS writing that guy's machine learning training data FOR FREE!
